Third Corporate Train of IRCTC Kashi Mahakal Express

PM Narendra Modi flagged off Kashi Mahakal Express on Sunday. IRCTC, an undertaking of Indian Railways, will operate this train. This is the third private train to be operated by IRCTC on the tracks of Indian Railways. This train will run from Kashi Vishwanath's city Varanasi to Indore. This train will connect three Jyotirlingas - Kashi Vishwanath, Omkareshwar (near Indore) and Mahakaleshwar (Ujjain). This train will also connect the industrial hub of Madhya Pradesh with Indore and the capital Bhopal.

Common People will be Able to Travel from 20 February 2020:-

IRCTC is already operating Tejas trains on the New Delhi - Lucknow Jn. and second is Mumbai - Hyderabad routes. The commercial start of Kashi Mahakal Express will start on 20 February 2020. Booking for this train has started from the IRCTC website. This train will be operated three days a week. Two days it will be run via Sultanpur-Lucknow. One day it will be run via Prayagraj i.e. Allahabad.

Stopes of IRCTC Kashi Mahakal Express

After the Corporate Train starts, this train will leave Varanasi (Kashi Station) at 3.45 pm every Tuesday and Thursday and reach Indore the next day at 9:40 am. The train will leave from Indore at 10:55 am every Wednesday and Friday and reach Varanasi at six the next day. This train will halt at Ujjain, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Bina, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow and Sultanpur stations from both sides.

Train Route via Prayagraj

Kashi Mahakal Express will be operated once a week via Prayagraj. The train will leave from Varanasi at 3:15 pm for Indore every Sunday. The train will reach Indore at 9.40 am the next day. This train will depart from Indore every Monday at 10.55 am. The train will reach Varanasi at five in the morning the next day. The train will halt at Ujjain, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Bina, Jhansi, Kanpur, and Prayagraj stations from both directions.

The fare of  IRCTC Kashi Mahakal Express will be dynamic like both Tejas trains, which means that the sooner you book a ticket, the more benefits you will get. The first train of IRCTC which will complete the journey in one night Both Tejas trains run by IRCTC travel both ways in a day. This will be the first train to reach its destination after a night's run. On this train, you will get vegetarian food. Also, insurance of Rs 10 lakh will be available.
