Indian Government banned 59 Chinese Apps

A few days ago, Indian intelligence agencies had asked the Indian government to block 52 Chinese mobile apps and not to use people, while now the government has banned a total of 59 Chinese mobile apps. The first name on this list is Tiktok.

The Indian government has taken major action against China and has banned 59 Chinese Chinese mobile apps. This includes apps such as TickTalk, Share It, UC Browser, Hello, Vigo.

The IT ministry said in an official statement released on Monday that it had received several complaints from various sources, including several reports about the misuse of some mobile apps available on Android and iOS platforms. These reports state that these apps "steal" users' data, sending them unauthorizedly to servers located outside India.

The statement issued by the government said, "The compilation, investigation, and profiling of these data by elements hostile to India's national security is ultimately based on India's sovereignty and integrity, Nowadays it is a matter of great concern, for which India needs emergency measures. The Indian Cyber? Crime Coordination Center under the Ministry of Home Affairs had also recommended a comprehensive ban on these malicious apps.

The statement said the move would "protect the interests of crores of Indian mobile and Internet users." This decision is a step towards ensuring the security and sovereignty of Indian cyberspace.
