How to Make Rava Appe Recipe |Methi Thepla Recipe?

Sweet Rava Appe Recipe in English

Rava Appe is a quick breakfast prepared with very little oil, mixed with Rava and green fresh vegetables. So good in taste that even Child and people like it very much. We can also keep it in children's tiffin with chutney or tomato sauce.

Ingredients for Sooji Veg Appe Recipe:-

  • Rava - ½ cup (100 grams)
  • Curd - ½ cup (whisked)
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Green peas - 4 cup
  • Cauliflower - 4 cups (finely chopped)
  • Green chili - 1 finely chopped
  • Ginger - ½ (small spoon paste)
  • Salt - ½ tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 4 teaspoons
  • Curry leaves - 7-8 (cut)
  • Baking Soda - 4 teaspoons

Method - How to Make Instant Rava Appe Recipe in English at Home?

Take out the Rava Appe in a big bowl, now add curd and mix. Add finely chopped cauliflower, peas, finely chopped green Chillies, ginger paste and salt to the mixture and mix everything well. 

If the batter looks too thick, then you can mix it by adding some water. 

Keep the batter covered for 10-20 minutes so that the Rava is ready to flower. Then we will make Appe from it.

The batter is ready for cooking, now fry mustard seeds, put 1 teaspoon of oil in a small pan and heat it, put mustard seeds in hot oil, add curry leaves to it after chopping it, fry it a little and add this spice Put it in the batter and mix. 

Now add baking soda to the mixture and mix.

Heat the Appe recipe maker and pour a little oil in each of its food. 

Take the mixture with a spoon and add a little bit of filling to each meal. 

After filling all the Appe, cover it for 3 minutes and let it cook on low or medium flame. After the golden brown is roasted from the bottom, flip it over and cover it again and let it cook for 2 minutes. Cook the Appe till it turns golden brown on both sides.

Gujarati Theplas are made in many ways. Make mashed Theplas of fenugreek made by mixing gram flour and wheat flour with fenugreek and native spices. You can keep them in a tiffin, if you go somewhere to roam, then make Theplas, they do not spoil even for 3-4 days.

Ingredients for Missa Methi Thepla Recipe

  • Wheat flour - 1 cup (150 grams)
  • Gram flour - 1/4 cup (25-30 grams)
  • Fenugreek - 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
  • Curd - 1/4 cup
  • Oil - 1/4 cup for kneading dough and for baking Theplas
  • Coriander - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt
  • Parsley - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Red chili - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp

Take out wheat flour in a vessel, add gram flour, red Chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, parsley, chopped fenugreek, curd and 2 tsp oil and mix it well. With the help of water knead soft dough. 

Cover the dough and keep it aside for 15-25 minutes. The dough will be set and ready.

Apply a little oil on your hands and mash the dough to make it smooth.

Heat the griddle. Break the dough into a small lemon equal to a small amount of dough and make a round dough, wrap it in dry wheat flour and place it on a circle, and roll out into a thin dough of 6-7 inches.

Put some oil on the hot pan and spread it all over, now put the rolled Thepla on the pan. 

When the color of Thepla becomes slightly dark from the top, then turn Thepla, spread 1 teaspoon of oil on the top, and spread it around. 

Flip the plate and spread it on the other side as well by adding a little oil. 

Turn the Thepla over medium flame both sides and roast it till it gets good brown spots. Place the roasted Thepla on a plate placed on a plate. Prepare all Theplas in the same way and about 11-12 Theplas are prepared in this much flour.
