  • Milk - 200 grams (1 cup)
  • Baking powder - one teaspoon
  • Baking soda - half tsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp

Take out all the ingredients used in the cake and keep it on the table.

Grease the utensil for making cakes. Grease the cake making utensil with a little ghee or butter, take a small spoon of flour and put it in this greased utensil and hold the utensil from the outside, and rotate it in such a way that If a thin layer of flour should be applied all over the place inside the vessel, remove the extra flour from the vessel.

Add salt, baking powder, baking soda, and cocoa powder to the flour taken for the cake and sieve it twice. Mix ghee and sugar in a big vessel and beat it well with a spoon, add condensed milk, and beat well till it mixes well.

Add sifted flour little by little to this mixture and keep on beating, after adding all the flour, beat the flour for 2-3 minutes, no lumps should remain in the paste. Add milk little by little to this paste and beat it, prepare a paste with the same consistency as for making pakoras for cakes. The paste for the cake is ready, now you can add walnuts, almonds, or cashew nuts by chopping any nuts.

To make a cake in a cooker, the bottom of the cake container should not touch the bottom of the cooker, otherwise, the cake may burn from below. For this, a bowl of salt is spread in the bottom of the cooker, so that the bottom of the cake container does not touch the bottom of the cooker and the salt keeps the temperature even after heating.

After putting a bowl of salt inside the cooker, keep it on high fire for two minutes and keep the lid of the cooker on top of it. In two, three minutes, the cooker will be hot enough to make the cake.

Take a greased cake container (Grease the vessel with some ghee and add a little flour, shake the vessel in such a way that a thin layer of flour is formed on it.) Put the cake mixture in the vessel and knock the mixture into one. 

Spread it like that.

Place this utensil in a pre-heated cooker, put a lid on the cooker and close it, but do not whistle on the lid. Cook the cake on low flame for 40 - 50 minutes. After forty minutes check the cake, if the cake is not baked well, by inserting a knife inside the cake, the mixture is coming on the knife, then bake the cake more, in 50 minutes the cake will be ready.

Open the cooker, you can see the cake that the cake is cooked, if you want, test it too, insert a knife into the cake and see if the cake does not stick to the knife, then your cake is done.

Allow the cooker to cool down with the cake container. Let the cake cool down, separate the cake from the sides of the vessel by moving a knife from the sides of the cake, now take out the cake on a plate by lightly tapping it. 

Chocolate cake made in cooker is ready, cut the cake into desired shape and size.

  1. The cake batter should not be too thick and too thin, the batter is kept like pakora batter.
  2. After the batter is made, keep baking immediately, after keeping the batter for a long time, keep baking, then the cake does not rise well.
