Vegetable Rice Pulao Recipe

Everyone likes rice, but add green vegetables to it and make a casserole, then it increases its taste and nutritional value. Then make a green casserole of green vegetables. In this casserole, ghee will also be used very little because a lot of people want to eat less ghee.

Ingredients for Vegetable Rice Pulao Recipe
  • Basmati rice - 200 grams or 2 small bowls
  • Lemon-1
  • Desi Ghee or refined oil - 1 tablespoon or less
  • Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Cloves - break into 3-4 pieces
  • Large cardamom - 1-2 peel and take out the seeds.
  • Green chili - 1 (finely chopped)
  • French beans - 50 grams or 15-16
  • Capsicum - 2 finely chopped
  • Cabbage - 50 grams finely chopped
  • Green peas - a bowl peeled
  • Green coriander - half bowl finely chopped
  • Salt - as per taste

How to make Vegetable Rice Pulao Recipe at Home?

Wash Pulav rice thoroughly and soak in water for 1/2 hour.

Here, I am sharing two types of processes:-
1. If you want to make it in the microwave
2. If you want to cook rice on gas

If You want to Make It in the Microwave:-

Put the soaked rice in a bowl kept in the microwave and add twice the water to it, and add lemon juice and salt, now cover the rice, and cook it for 12 minutes in the microwave. After seeing the rice, you will know that the rice has cooked. Take it out of the microwave, and open the lid.

Put the pan on the gas. Add ghee and heat, and now add cumin seeds, after cumin turns brown, add cloves, cardamom seeds, and green chilies, fry for a minute and now add all the green vegetables and salt. Stir and fry for 2-3 minutes. Now cover the vegetables for 2-3 minutes. Remove the lid and see that the vegetables are cooked lightly. Now add rice to these vegetables and roast them for 2 minutes while stirring. A casserole is ready.

If you want to Cook Rice on Gas:-

So put ghee in the cooker and heat it, now add cumin seeds, after roasting cumin add cloves and cardamom seeds and green chilies and fry for 1 minute. Now put all the vegetables. Fry for a minute, and now add rice and fry again for 2 minutes. And add double the water from the rice, now add lemon juice and salt. Turn off the cooker. 

As soon as the pressure comes in the cooker, turn off the gas. Open the cooker after 5 minutes. A casserole is ready. Take out the casserole in a bowl or a large plate. Garnish with green coriander. Serve with pickle or green chutney.

Jeera Rice Recipe In Pressure Cooker

Cumin rice or cumin casserole made from whole spices and cumin flavor It is easy to make a casserole. Serve it with lentils, vegetables, or curries or only with pickles. They look delicious in every way.

Ingredients for Jeera Pulao In Pressure Cooker
  • Basmati rice - 1 cup
  • Ghee or oil - 2 -3 tablespoons
  • Coriander leaves - 2-3 tablespoons, finely chopped
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon full up
  • Lemon - 1
  • Whole Spices - 1 big cardamom, 4 long, 7-8 black pepper and 1 inch 
  • cinnamon slice
  • Salt - 1 tsp (as per taste)

How to Make Jeera Rice Recipe Restaurant Style?

Clean the rice and wash and soak it in water for 1/2 hour. Remove the excess water from the rice after half an hour.

Put ghee in a vessel and heat it, when the ghee is hot, add cumin seeds and fry it lightly (cumin should not be black), add whole spices, cinnamon, black pepper, long and cardamom and fry it lightly, soaked rice. 

Put it Fry 2 minutes after adding the rice to the spices and stirring continuously with a spoon. Now add 2 cups of water, also add salt, And squeeze the lemon juice.

Add it to the rice (adding lemon juice makes the rice taste and taste better), mix well, let the rice cook for 5 minutes on a slow flame, after 5 minutes.

Open the rice and check to Do it, stir the rice well.

Cover the rice again and let it cook again for 5 minutes on low flame, open and check the rice, the rice is not fully cooked.

Now the rice is showing water, stir the rice and cover it and cook for 3-4 minutes again. 

Come, check the rice, the water in the rice is over, the rice has become soft and long, the rice has been made. Turn the gas off.

Cover the rice and leave it for 10-15 minutes in the same vessel. After 15 minutes cumin seeds are ready to blossom, garnish with green coriander over cumin rice, serve, and eat.

Lemon Rice Recipe in Kerala style

Those who like rice often want to eat their variety. In such a case, lemon rice with onion can be tried. For this dish of South India, the first rice is boiled and tempered in it.

Ingredients for Lemon Rice Recipe in Kerala style:-
  • 300 grams of rice
  • Half a cup of peanuts
  • Two whole red chilies dried
  • A spoonful of white urad dal
  • A spoonful of mustard seeds
  • A spoonful of gram lentils
  • Half a teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Half a teaspoon of fenugreek seeds
  • Three teaspoons lemon juice
  • A pinch of asafoetida
  • 10-12 curry leaves
  • A spoonful of fresh coconut
  • A spoonful of oil
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Lemon Rice Recipe in Kerala Style?

Lemon rice is a delicious South Indian dish that can be eaten by cooking boiled rice with spices and adding lemon juice to it.

Wash rice thoroughly and soak for 20 minutes.

Put salt in water and rice and boil it. When the rice is cooked, discard the remaining water.

Heat oil in a pan and add a pinch of asafoetida.

Now mix red chilies, urad dal, chana dal and fenugreek seeds in it. 

Mix all the ingredients until the dal become light brown.

Add peanuts and mustard seeds to it. When the mustard starts crackling, 

Add curry leaves. Fry them for about half a minute.

Now mix cooked rice, salt, lemon juice and turmeric powder in this material.
