You eat green coriander chutney with samosas, kachoris, idli, aloo paratha, Bhel, dhokla, tikka, pakoras, chaat, and curd. People like to eat this chutney along with eating it daily.

Ingredients for Green (Coriander) Chutney Recipe:-

  • Coriander leaves - 100 grams
  • Green Chili - 3-4
  • Garam masala - a small spoon
  • Mango powder - a small spoon or a large lemon juice
  • Salt - as per taste

How to Make Green (Coriander) Chutney at Home?

Step1:- Clean and wash the green coriander and green Chillies and cut it thick. 

Step2:- Mix garam masala, lemon juice, or mango powder and salt and grind them finely by adding half a small bowl of water. 

Step3:- Take green coriander chutney is ready.

Step4:- This chutney can also be kept in the refrigerator and eaten for 3-4 days.

Onion (Pyaj)Chutney Recipe South Indian Style:-

Onion (Pyaj) chutney is a famous South Indian recipe that you can make at home party for your family members. This spicy sauce can be made easily in 20 minutes.

You eat onion sauce recipe with dosa, idli, Adai, poppadoms samosa, rice, pate, and Pesarattu, etc.

Ingredients of Onion Chutney Recipe

  • 8 medium-sized onions
  • 2 tablespoons tamarind
  • 4 spoon salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp mustard
  • 7 red Chillies
  • ½ tsp urad dal
  • 2 ½ tbsp vegetable oil

How to Make Onion Chutney for Idli and Dosa?

Step1:- To make this chutney, peel, and chop onions.

Step2:- After this, heat the oil in a pan on medium heat. Now add onion, red Chillies, tamarind, and salt and cook on a low flame for 4-5 minutes. 

Step3:- Leave the mixture to cool.

Step4:- Now mix some water in the mixture and grind it to a soft and thick paste.

Step5:- Fry the mustard and urad dal for a few seconds. Pour it over the chutney. 

Step6:- Now serve the onion (Pyaj) Sauce Recipe as a side dish.

What is Imli (Tamarind) Chutney Recipe?

You can use sweet Imli (Tamarind) chutney with samosas, kachoris, curd big and all kinds of chaats. Homemade chutney is very good than the chutney made in the market. Children and you will love sweet sauce recipes very much. You eat Imli (Tamarind) sauce samosa, puri, Dahi vada, chaat, Pani puri, and kachori.

Ingredients for Imli (Tamarind) Chutney Recipe

  • Tamarind - 1 cup (200 grams)
  • Sugar or jaggery - 1 cup (200 grams)
  • Raisins - 1/4 cup
  • Chhuhare - 5-6 (finely cut long Qatar)
  • Black salt _ 3/4 tsp
  • Plain salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Green cardamom - 6 to 7 (peel and grind)
  • Garam Masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - less than 1/4 teaspoon

How to Make Imli (Tamarind) Chutney Recipe for a Long Period of Time?

Step1:- Soak tamarind in 2 cups of water overnight or for 8 to 10 hours.

Step2:- Boil the soaked tamarind and sieve it with a steel sieve as soon as it becomes soft. 

Step3:- Tamarind pulp is ready.

Step4:- Mix sugar or jaggery and 1 cup water in tamarind pulp. 

Step5:- Keep it cooking on the gas. 

Step6:- Add black salt, salt, and red chili to it and mix. Cook it till the sugar dissolves and the solution thickens.

Step7:- When the sauce comes to a boil, add raisins, garam masala, Chhuhare, and mix and let the sauce thicken. Next, check the chutney. 

Step8:- To check the chutney put one drop of it in the bowl and stick it between the finger and thumb and try to see a wire forming in it. Once the wires are formed, turn off the gas.

Step9:- Add cardamom powder to the chutney and mix.

Step10:- Sweet tamarind chutney is ready. You can eat sweet tamarind sauce with curd vada or any chaat or paratha. Fill the sweet tamarind sauce in a box and keep it in your fridge.
